We went on a weekday a little after 11 am and were told the next entrance available was for 1 pm (for 2 hours later). The park entrance fee policy has changed in the last year, so all the area worth seeing are now within the paid part of the park. It is worth paying and getting inside to explore the park. It is really beautiful and has very different style columns.

I went here some years ago, at this time we visited the whole park for free (without the Gaudi house) and I enjoyed it very much. Now the colorful part of the park (Gaudis mosaics), which is just a small part, costs a 7€ fee (it's very nice, but overpriced). If you want to go there you should get your tickets before, otherwise you'll have to wait some time with dozens of other tourists. In the park you'll also find the Gaudi House Museum (costs 5,50€ p.P.) which is very small and is not worth the money because there is almost nothing inside.
